Our Difference
Engineered for extended life
Meticulously designed for extended life in extreme outdoor conditions.
Copper-free cast aluminum body for corrosion resistance. The lens is made from UV coated polycarbonate. High-quality and high-rating internal components from major manufacturer ensures reliability to deliver exceptional product lifespan.
Design for Simple Installation
Our Low Intensity can be mounted from side entry (as pictured) or from bottom. LED Light unit is pre-wired and sealed to maintained IP66 protection.
Our entire range of Aviation Obstruction Light (AOL) fixtures are designed with similar user friendly concept.
Surge Protection
Singapore, which has been dubbed a lightning capital, has one of the highest occurrences of lightning activity in the world.
On average, Singapore experiences 168 thunderstorm days per year - which is an indication of lightning activity. That’s definitely a lot of potential transient voltage that could cause damage to the electronic components of a LED lighting fixture.
Our LED Obstruction Lights are designed with built-in surge protection system to minimize disruption or catastrophic failure due to transient voltage.

Upcoming changes in the FAA standards
Regulations and standards evolve over time. New technologies and insights are sometimes adopted to keep the standards up to date. A new addition to the FAA standards is the Engineering Brief EB 98. In this update the FAA proposes additional requirements for InfraRed emitters for Aviation Obstruction Lights (AOL) using Light Emitting Diodes (LED). These additional requirements will be mandatory with the next release of the AC 15-/5345-43J

Additional Options
In March 2019, the FAA issued AC 150/5345-43J, outlining 17 changes to the technical specifications governing aircraft warning lights. Six principal changes integrated infrared standards to FAA obstruction light regulations for night vision goggle (NVG) and night vision imaging systems (NVIS) compatibility. Inline with this new update, Infrared (IR) emitters with 800 to 900 nm range Output Wavelength are added to all Red color Aviation Obstruction Lights (AOL) manufactured by Dialight.
“Transient Protection Test” has also been included as it has been a proven feature to extend the operation and lifespan of the Aviation Obstruction Light (AOL) products.
The entire Aviation Obstruction Light products from Dialight is now fully certified to FAA AC 150/5345-43J
